Such approach is directed at a comprehensive approach to the design, implementation and execution of IT strategy within an enterprise.<br \/>\nThe Zachman framework has two dimensions.<br \/>\nThe first dimension is the dimension of a party. Going from top to bottom,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we show the enterprise from an executive point of view, that sets the scope,<\/li>\n<li>an owner view, that steers the daily business within the scope provided<\/li>\n<li>an architectural view that provides a logical overview of the daily processes as defined above<\/li>\n<li>the engineering view that translates a logical overview into something that can be built<\/li>\n<li>the technical view that actually implements the strategy<\/li>\n<li>the user perspective that uses above components<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Next to that, we have a second dimensions that describes what items must be modelled.<\/p>\n<p>We have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;what&#8221;: identification of items<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;how&#8221;: identification of processes<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;where&#8221;: the geographical component<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;who&#8221;: the division into roles and responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;when&#8221;: the division over time<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;why&#8221;: the motivation why everything above is undertaken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A nice overview is given here:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/62.131.51.129\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Zachman-Framework-3.0.pdf\">Zachman Framework 3.0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Zachman framework is a nice example of so-called &#8220;IT Entreprise Architecture&#8221;.
